"Art is an emotional investment. It should be something that brings joy and positivity into your life"
What do you do at Wyecliffe Galleries?
My role consists of providing a high quality service for Wyecliffe clients, helping the sales team to deliver a fast, efficient and personable service. With a background in interior design my expertise lies in sourcing artwork that elevates luxury design schemes. Day to day, I work on processing new pieces and getting them ready for publication on all of our social platforms. I also help to organise and prepare the gallery for upcoming events, talks and launches.
Which are your favourite artists?
I have a few. I am really drawn to Kate Taylor's use of colour and form. It is minimal but also, incredibly vivid and emotive. For me, art is an emotional investment. It should be something that brings joy and positivity into your life – and I think my background in interiors has helped shaped my personal tastes. I think Lhouette's work is really fun and vibrant. His use of popular 21st century motifs and iconography helps create something both familiar and relatable. Lastly, Britto – and simply because he's my Mum's favourite artist and he reminds me of her.
