Robin Eckardt has had numerous solo exhibitions in Cork Street and Mayfair, London. Her work sells internationally having been exhibited in New York, Paris, Dublin, and Amsterdam. Original paintings are in private collections as far away as Russia, Canada and the USA.

Robin Eckardt is one of the best at using different elements to create disparate-looking layers, as though the elements were working on top of each other – So much so, that anyone who chooses to engage with her work like ‘Hidden Depths’, can very clearly tell what has been introduced from the first to the last component, the outcome of such a discovery brings a purposeful story into fruition, a step-by-step narrative that people can paint in their own way.

Robin’s scalability is what allows for her style to stand out, large and presiding – What’s more commendable, is the attention to detail to create elements of small sizes as shown in the corners of her Box Canvas, it typifies a style to showcase as the large, calculated workload in to a piece that is of the highest quality, in other words, Robin Eckardt is an assiduous artist.

The epic-scale and daring use of media has made Robin Eckardt one of Wyecliffe’s most influential and immediately recognisable talents. On a mild day in February, our intrepid Wyecliffe photographer Lucy set out to Buckinghamshire to record this enigmatic artist at her own studio. The results are enlightening and offer an insight into the creative process behind the iconic large-scale luxury panels gracing homes, hotels, casinos and yachts around the Globe.
