The Wyecliffe Galleries proudly represents a niche movement of artists who experimentation has led them to fuse their original works with UV charged crystals and paint.

Avant-garde in their approach, they are not only concerned with the presentation of their work throughout the day, they seek to surprise and delight with art that softly illuminates as twilight appears. A magical experience, many compositions are entirely transformed when viewed in the darkness.

Often displayed in Wyecliffe’s vast studio, clients may take advantage of the award nominated lighting system within to mimic their own environment at home. Navigating between cool and warm light as well as a balance of the two, collectors may work with our consultants to visualise how best to achieve maximum effect from the UV glow when considering the setting within their own property.

Backlighting & Illuminated Frames

As part of our bespoke package of services, Wyecliffe Galleries also offers tailored lighting options that may be embedded within the chosen artwork itself. If illumination from spot or picture lights isn’t available, many original paintings and boutique editions can be re-framed into a new handmade frame rim within which channels are crafted to accommodate LED strips on all four edges: providing full illumination from every angle.

Providing drama and depth, backlighting is an extremely effective option to create a true statement with your chosen piece. Especially powerful when used in conjunction with the wall sculpture format, a simple framework is built upon the back to float the artwork forward with LED strips shaped to create an incredible halo effect around the reverse. In both illuminated frames as well as backlit artworks, space for a transformer is designated and the choice is yours as to whether the wire is chased into the wall, or simply install and plug in!
