With the Gold Edition of Deep in the Whispering Wood, Kerry Darlington offers a rarer, more luminous interpretation of her enchanting Faraway Tree world.

The story remains, Moon-Face, Silky, the Saucepan Man, Dame Washalot, and the Angry Pixie nestled among the branches, with Joe, Beth, Frannie, and Rick discovering their way through its hidden pathways. Above, the Land of Toys brings its playful colour and movement, while below, the woodland life continues quietly, grounding the scene.

Here, the difference is in the finish. Rich gold metallic leaf is woven more generously throughout the artwork, catching the light and warming the entire composition. The effect is immediate, a deeper glow, a stronger presence, and a sense of rich luxury that elevates the piece beyond the unique edition.

Released from Kerry’s private archive and limited to just ten pieces, this edition carries both rarity and distinction, a more considered way to experience the work.

A celebration of imagination, memory, and storytelling, Deep in the Whispering Wood in its Gold Edition feels both familiar and elevated, a world you recognise, seen in a richer light.

Providing quality at every step

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
