'Cool Day' by Mary Johnston is a bracing piece of work that adds richness with every smooth brush stroke applied - All graciously
married together with the rays of a deep blue that adds charisma to
the portrait, like a deep-thinker - The title 'Cool Day' transcribes
into the general mood of the painting as a crisp, autumn setting that can represent convention or nostalgia depending on the personal experiences of the lucky individual engaging with such a piece.

Some of the artists we go to partnership with have made a namesake as mood setters with the new, Pantone Colour for 2020 - Many have been daring in their quest for mood setting by process of experimentation - Like none other than our commissioned-based artist, Becky Smith, and her scenically renowned, acrylic on metal combination - As her hardened surface is purposely in place to reflect the light on the 2020 Pantone Colour, allowing the emotions of her elements, like her humming birds, to become free.

Classic blue has made many appearances with some of our most talented artists and within bespoke commissioned works, effortlessly fitting in with any form of interior. Many deep blue hues symbolise that of the sky at nightfall, which may explain why this colour can resonate with so many people.
Blue has also been linked to producing a ‘calming’ effect in human psychology. Which may explain why we see so many key zones around the home decorated with this signature colour. For instance, Kate Taylor’s work has been used for a variety of different bedroom spaces – both contemporary and classic – to create a feeling of tranquillity.
Likewise, Allan Storer’s originals tend to help complete bathroom spaces – enhancing the luxurious materials and surrounding elements in a scheme. Such is the case with the textures of his acrylic-based pieces, the creation of such elements have brought life to his paintings and acts as the facilitator to bring life to all surrounding spaces.
