Japanese-Australian artist, Koko, fuses her Asian heritage with her Western upbringing to bring her art a bold and distinctive flare. Creating beautiful and vibrant multi-media pieces that elegantly showcase the integral parts of her identity; she utilises traditional delicate brush strokes to accompany the mechanical elements of her work.
Growing up in rural Australia, she later travelled to Sydney to study contemporary art, giving her the means to express her unique perspective of the world and identity through her visceral human abstracts.
While Koko enjoys working exhibits in a number of Sydney galleries, she is prepared to explore the new frontier of the international market.
