About Rebecca Smith - Sales Coordinator

Rebecca's Background

Studying at Rivers Academy School and later attending Brooklands College in Weybridge, Rebecca completed her BTEC Level 3 in Fine Art. After a spell studying towards a BA in Painting at Wimbledon College of Arts, as a talented painter she decided not to wait to pursue a career in the arts and so left to focus on her role at the Wycliffe Galleries alongside developing her portfolio as a commissionable artist.

"I have always been involved with art from a young age, so for me to deal with artwork on a daily basis is very beneficial"

Rebecca's Responsibilities

Rebecca has always been involved with art from a young age and has studied the subject hoping to develop a career within art, so for her, to see first-hand how a gallery is run, behind the scenes, deal with art work on a daily basis and meet artists visiting the gallery themselves is very beneficial and a huge learning curve. Rebecca's favourite artists are definitely Amy Lee and Lhouette, her favourite Amy Lee piece being ‘Creativity’ and favourite Lhouette piece being ‘Tokyo Dreaming’.

Rebecca's role is to support the logistics of purchases made either in the gallery or online, by hand pick orders, inspecting and selecting frame options, organise courier dates and post sales, ensuring a smooth running of the customers experience from order to delivery at Wyecliffe - As an artist herself, having the opportunity to work at Wyecliffe in a gallery environment is a very well-suited role.
