THE ROZANNE BELL COLLECTION

AN EXUBERANT ARTIST

Born in Zimbabwe in 1962, Rozanne 'Roz' Bell lived & exhibited her work all over Southern Africa and, through tourism, an American market for her work evolved. As her style has evolved she has developed a strong international following. In 2002, the political climate in Zimbabwe necessitated Rozanne's move to England. The ability to adapt to a new environment coupled with her determination to succeed has created strong demand for her work here in the UK...

"Due to a very limited concentration span and a brain congested with art ideas, I find it is very important to have the creative release of exploring the ideas buzzing through my head – and there is an archive of ideas that keep me up at night!

Rozanne Bell Art

Rozanne Bell, the 'Contemporary Beatrix Potter', recreates animals from childhood stories and the beautiful floral and meadows of England. Like all Rozanne's works, her paintings have been made on the foundations of acrylic on board with hand-poured resin originals. Each work is entirely unique as Bell does not produce prints of limited edition series, which in it's own right, makes her subjects even more special.

Rozanne Bell's connection with animals goes beyond the day-to-day care of her four small (and big) dogs, it stretches to the smeared application of her strong paint brushes acquired to replicate the playful charisma of her household pets. Lately for Rozanne Bell, the progression of her quirky nature has subtly taken pace around her recent creations, a purposeful act to bring joy and character to family households as Bell's wild and domestic animals touch the hearts of all animal lovers
