'A gorgeous explosion of blossoming blooms produced on layer upon layer of deliciously vibrant colour on a backdrop of luscious gold. What a sumptuous feast! In this new work, I wanted the plants to gain more prominence and as my practice has evolved, I'm now focusing more on depth of texture and strength of colour. Each individual petal is worked on, every section overlaid with more paint, then gently sanded back so what was once below can peep through. My works are as multi-layered as are we. A reflection of the lives we have led, the paths we have chosen, the trauma we have experienced. How our loves and losses and all of life’s deliciousness and despair continue to influence the people we become.'- Louise Dear

Medium: Original work on aluminium on mixed media, including gloss paint, gold leaf, diamond dust, glitter, Swarovski crystals and high gloss varnish onto metal.

Providing quality at every step

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
