There are No Rules - Edition

Louise Dear’s There Are No Rules is now released as a rare limited edition print, offering collectors access to a landmark work in her career.

Celebrating freedom, pleasure, and spontaneity, the composition is inspired by Shirley Bassey’s lyric “Love has no season, there are no rules”. Bold peonies bloom in playful pinks and greens, detailed with a jewelled intricacy that captures Dear’s unrestrained joy in the act of painting. Flowing clematis recall the elegance of Japanese floating-world art, while a hidden daisy, one of Dear’s recurring motifs, symbolises renewal and resilience.

At the centre, her muse radiates confidence, adorned with striking crystal earrings, a nod to her mother’s enduring style and wisdom.

Limited to a global edition of just 25, each piece is hand-signed and numbered by Louise Dear herself, making it a rare opportunity for collectors to acquire a print of such importance.
