YumYum Summer Sun - Original - SOLD

Sold out

"This painting conveys my love of life, the pure pleasure I perceive when a warm wind blows with the promise of spring, when I see an unfolding petal or sunlight on water. The intoxicating perfume of jasmine grows in abundance throughout the small French village I live in and all these things are delicious sensations that permeate my entire being and with ‘YumYum’ I express them in pure paint. It is almost 20 years ago that I created the original YumYum, shortly after meeting someone new and falling head over heels in love. I still feel exactly the same today about this wonderful man, two decades on and every so often I have the need to return to this painting, creating a new version to express my continued delight."- Louise Dear

Providing quality at every step

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
