Mermaid (French Fancy) - Original - SOLD

Mermaid is a whimsical celebration of fantasy, femininity, and childlike wonder. Painted during lockdown in Louise Dear’s French village hideaway, this cherubic figure floats dreamily across the page, her golden curls, glittering green tail, and delicate features rendered in Louise’s signature combination of softness and sparkle. As with many pieces in the French Fancies collection, this work reflects a return to innocence and imagination, with a playful nod to the fairytales once shared between mother and daughter.
