Under My Wing - Original - SOLD

Sold out

'Under My Wing' draws inspiration from the celebrated previous title 'Little Dewdrop'; this new two-part dewdrop-shaped original is a stunning example of the emotion Kerry Darlington can capture in her artworks.

Medium: Original presented in two unique 'Dewdrop' shapes with a matte resin finish. Supplied ready to hang without a frame.
Image Size (Larger Teardrop): 44.3 x 31 cm / 17.4" x 12.2"
Image Size (Smaller Teardrop): 13 x 8.5 cm / 5.1" x 3.3"

‘Under My Wing’ is Kerry Darlington’s first-ever two-part original with an accompanying two-part-edition, formed of two dewdrop silhouettes. Featuring a larger dewdrop shape with a sleeping fairy nestled within a blue tit, as well as a second separate smaller dewdrop which shows a sleeping baby, this innovative piece may be displayed as the collector wishes; with the two works together, displayed separately around your home or keep the smaller teardrop as a keepsake charm.

Providing quality at every step

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
