The Speed Of Life - Original - SOLD

Becky Smith’s The Speed of Life bottles the rush of living fast into a 30 x 30cm original that feels like it could roar off the canvas. A skull stares out from inside a racing helmet, marked with the words 'Life is Fast', a blunt reminder that time never slows, and neither should you.

Painted in Becky’s razor-sharp style, every line has the polish of the track, every detail hums with drive. Glow-in-the-dark pigments supercharge the work after dark, turning the helmet and skull into a nocturnal adrenaline hit.

Compact yet fierce, The Speed of Life is Becky Smith in overdrive: a one-off original built for those who chase the rush, take the corner hard, and refuse to hit the brakes.

  • Medium: Original acrylic paint, spray paint on canvas, with specialised UV glow-in-the-dark paint and finished with a spray varnish.
  • Image size: 30 x 30 cm / 11.81" x 11.81"
  • Boxed canvas strung, ready to be displayed.

Providing quality at every step

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
