In 'Indiga', Kerry Darlington turns her gaze to the night skies, a celestial dreamscape imagined as a distant fictional moon bathed in colour and light. While its name hints at something cosmic and mysterious, this circular abstract captures the serenity and magnetism of a world that exists just beyond reach.
Building on her signature process, Kerry begins with intricate texture before blending sweeping layers of acrylic paint in tones of cerulean blue, rose, violet and soft pearl-white, finished with gilded metallic highlights and a gloss resin coating. The result feels fluid, expansive and alive, an astral surface where pigment and light flow together like tides.
Unlike her earlier volcanic abstracts, which drew from the Earth’s fiery heart, 'Indiga' reaches outward, into the calm, infinite silence of space. It’s both intimate and cosmic, a reflection of Kerry’s continuing exploration of creation, energy and the invisible connections between all worlds.

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.
Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.
Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.
