Released to public sale for the very first time especially for Wyecliffe Galleries, we are thrilled to offer the published original of ‘The Keeper of Dreams’ for acquisition. This original painting accompanying this year’s smash success unique edition is the latest instalment in the internationally recognised Classic Folklore series. Infused with the spiritual fortunes of peace and luck, Darlington references her belief of harmony in nature and the ideology of ‘yin and yang’ for which pandas are said to represent. Though not necessarily inspired by one particular story, the work is infused with Kerry’s incredible ability to weave a narrative throughout her portfolio, inspired by both literature and spirituality alike.
A circular portrait, the composition features a brunette heroine embracing a panda bear; surrounded by pink, purple and blue butterflies, peonies and bows are laced throughout her hair.
