Ric Duffield was born and bred in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire, Ric became a well respected wildlife artist and illustrator before being commissioned to carry out work for Yorkshire Television.
In 2000 he became a freelance artist and although still exhibiting fine art in galleries across the Country, Ric decided to specialise in scenic work. Using techniques and specialist knowledge he was able to replicate the smallest image to a large scale mural whilst maintaining intricate detail as well as specialising in marbling, ageing, optical illusions and much more.
Ric is based in Harrogate, and his portfolio includes museums such as Royal Armouries, National Railway Museum, Tower of London and Castle Museum in York. Ric has also completed work for restaurant chains including Zaap, pubs and themed venues.
