Art Commissions

Unique and Personal Artwork

Imagine owning a work of art that exists nowhere else in the world, designed exclusively for you, tailored to your space, your vision, and your story. At Wyecliffe Galleries, commissioning an artwork is an effortless and inspiring journey, allowing you to collaborate directly with a leading artist to create something truly personal. Whether you’re looking for the perfect size, a colour palette to complement your home, a breathtaking landscape, or even a portrait of a beloved pet, we make the process seamless.

Our expert art consultants work closely with you to refine your brief, ensuring every detail is understood and flawlessly translated into the artist’s work. A deposit, typically 50%, confirms your commission (though some artists require full payment upfront to secure their studio time.) With completion times ranging from 6 weeks to 3 months. Once the artwork is finished, you’ll receive professional imagery, personal video tour or be invited to view it in person, at which point the remaining balance is due.

With our experience and meticulous attention to detail, the process is smooth, enjoyable, and completely stress-free. This is more than just acquiring art, it’s the opportunity to create something uniquely yours. Let’s bring your vision to life.

Some collectors take the commissioning process even further, using it as a chance to make bold, personal statements and push creative boundaries. From unusual spaces to dramatic scales, our clients often present artists with exciting challenges that lead to truly one-of-a-kind results.

Recent standout commissions include:

  • A series of original paintings on specially treated marine plywood, designed for safe installation in luxury pool areas.
  • Precision-engineered photographic panels, custom printed to the millimetre and seamlessly integrated into bespoke joinery.
  • A curved canvas and handcrafted frame, tailored for a double-height atrium with a circular wall.
  • A reclaimed cable drum transformed into multi-functional fine art furniture.

These examples show how commissioning art can go beyond the traditional, resulting in pieces that are not only visually stunning but deeply integrated into your space and lifestyle.
