Inspired by the ancient folklore of dryads and the spirits believed to inhabit and protect trees, Forest Guardian is a striking one-of-a-kind original by Kerry Darlington.

Powerful yet vulnerable, the portrait depicts a guardian seemingly emerging from the forest itself, with twisting branches and intricate metallic leaves surrounding the figure. Her obscured gaze adds an intriguing sense of mystery, inviting the viewer to find their own meaning within the work.

Warm earthy tones and beautiful organic detail blur the boundaries between the human form and nature, creating an artwork with remarkable presence.

Rich in symbolism and atmosphere, Forest Guardian captures Kerry’s enduring fascination with the place where nature, mythology and imagination meet.

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
