Kerry Darlington’s 'Winter Friends' captures the simple beauty of companionship through the flutter of two bright little robins perched upon a frosty branch. Set against a crisp blue sky, this joyful original celebrates the warmth of friendship even in the heart of winter.

Inspired by the artist’s own garden, where a pair of robins return each year to visit and follow her as she paints, 'Winter Friends' is infused with genuine affection. Their soft, rounded forms and vibrant plumage are brought to life in Kerry’s meticulous brushwork, every feather rendered with care, every berry gleaming with life.

The piece radiates the same hope and harmony often seen in her Tree of Life works, yet here, the focus rests purely on nature’s smallest joys. With its uplifting palette and tender narrative, 'Winter Friends' reminds us that connection, whether with people or the natural world, brings light to even the coldest days.

Providing quality at every step

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
