Together We're Unlimited - GOLD Edition

Together We're Unlimited - Kerry Darlington

Some friendships are extraordinary. Others are pure magic. Kerry Darlington's Together We're Unlimited celebrates one of the most beloved relationships in modern fantasy, bringing together Elphaba and Glinda against the magnificent backdrop of the Emerald City.

Inspired by the world of Wicked, the painting captures the two witches in a moment of remarkable unity. Glinda's elaborate pink gown blooms with intricate floral decoration, while Elphaba's richly patterned emerald robes echo the soaring towers of Oz. Their contrasting appearances tell only part of the story, for beneath the famous identities of good witch and wicked witch lies a friendship of extraordinary depth.

The title Together We're Unlimited reflects the belief that the people who truly understand us can help us discover strengths we never knew we possessed. It is a sentiment that resonates throughout Wicked, where friendship challenges convention, transforms identity and ultimately changes the course of two lives.

For this exceptionally rare Gold Edition, Kerry Darlington's intricate imagery is elevated through the application of precious gold leaf, individually applied three-dimensional embellishments and a luminous gloss resin finish. From the fantastical architecture of the Emerald City to the tiny flying monkey hovering above its towers, every detail contributes to the extraordinary richness of the composition. The creature's presence also reflects the spirit of Menagerie, where the animals and fantastical beings of our favourite stories have their own place within the narrative.

The result is a particularly luxurious interpretation of Kerry's distinctive mixed media technique, bringing together traditional decorative craftsmanship and contemporary artistic innovation.

With only 10 Gold Editions created worldwide, this is the rarest edition format of Together We're Unlimited, offering collectors an exceptional opportunity to acquire a highly exclusive interpretation of Kerry's celebrated storytelling.

Available exclusively through Wyecliffe Galleries on the Menagerie launch night, the Gold Edition is a fitting tribute to two extraordinary heroines and the enduring belief that the greatest magic is often the magic we find in one another.
