Kerry Darlington’s 'Silver Silhouette' captures the quiet enchantment of winter, that suspended moment when light, frost and stillness weave together. Bathed in a soft, metallic glow, the scene features an elegant tree adorned with hand-applied silver leaf, its intricate branches stretching across a landscape of browns, bronzes and smoky taupes.

Two majestic deer stand beneath its luminous canopy, drawn to the tree’s ethereal magic. The subtle interplay of metallic tones and fine texture creates a sense of hushed reverence, as though the forest itself has paused to breathe.

Darlington’s layered technique imbues the work with depth and quiet movement, every crackle of paint and shimmer of silver suggesting the fleeting beauty of frost upon the earth. 'Silver Silhouette' is a moment of still wonder, where nature’s magic feels both eternal and newly awakened.

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
