Expanding the concept of misplacement into an immersive experience, this edition captures the aesthetic and impact of the original 'Misfits' artwork in breathtaking form; a towering statement of rebellion, individuality and modern identity.
Layered with nostalgic icons, pop culture fragments and a fierce female muse, each piece is crafted directly onto reclaimed timber pallet panels and presented within Lhouette’s signature deconstructed frame; a bespoke design that enhances the artwork’s dimensionality and raw industrial edge. At this monumental scale, every detail, from the textured vintage book pages to the bursts of aerosol stencil and collage, feels alive, pulsating with colour, nostalgia and defiance.
Gritty, industrial and unapologetically glamorous, the Grande Edition embodies the spirit and aesthetic of the original Misfits work, elevated through scale and craftsmanship to museum-quality impact. Specifications
A meticulously hand-crafted mixed media edition combining layered aerosol-stencilled portraiture with print collage and vintage book pages, mounted on individually staggered, upcycled timber panels. Each piece features a dynamic surface relief with subtle shifts in depth, highlighting the series’ core theme of misplacement and individuality.
Finished with a UV-protective satin varnish to preserve colour vibrancy and surface texture.
Every artwork is unique, with natural variations in tone, collage elements, and embellishment, making each edition a one-of-a-kind.

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.
Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.
Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.
