Raised in Florida, USA, Scott was originally inspired by Renaissance and Baroque portraits and landscapes. His early fascination with art led to a career as an arts specialist with Sothebys and a gallery director.
Deciding to embrace his love for artistry full-time, Bauer has never looked back. His vivid abstract canvases draw their arresting quality from the juxtaposition of landscape-inspired naturalism with linear formalism. The result are pieces both calmly meditative and thrillingly precise. Wyecliffe is very excited to welcome this distinctive artist.
