Charlotte Hampson - Studio Assistant

This year I will graduate from University of the Arts London Wimbledon, with a degree in Fine Art Painting.

I am currently working towards my degree show where I will exhibit my work in June. Having previously completed my A-level and Foundation courses in Art and Design in Portsmouth I have always wanted to pursue a career in art.

Working part time at Wyecliffe has given me essential experience and has expanded my knowledge of the contemporary art world.

My role at the Wyecliffe gallery is to process the photographs of our latest artwork and upload them onto our website.

I make sure the images on our site are of the highest quality, are true to real life and most importantly show off the exciting new pieces we have to offer.

What I love the most about art is its ability to take you somewhere else, to a different time and reality. One of my favourite artists is Allan Morgan.

His paintings capture the beauty of the natural landscape, paused in a single moment. The pop of colour offers a sense of hope against the atmospheric clouds above.
