About Lucy Warburton - In-House Photographer

Lucy's Background

Lucy was a professional photographer who came in to help with an exhibition shoot in 2016 and basically never left! Lucy hopes that with her experience which comes with years of working behind the lens helps move our artwork presentation to the next level. Lucy particularly enjoys the precise nature of fine art photography and I love working with the high-end equipment we’ve invested in, it’s really the best job in the world.

Lucy's Responsibilities

Paolo Cassais has always been an artist who Lucy has enjoyed in terms of the outcome of his work and also taking photographs as an extension to Lucy's – The consistency of his style in the forms of heart-like shapes and beach-like settings have always added value to Lucy's photographs since they always pose a heart-warming message – As a result, Cassais’ work has always been a joy to ponder on and engage with.

Lucy's role as In-House Photographer entails taking all the appropriate photographs of all the artworks that come through the front doors - each shot is a completely different one, all with equal importance. Her role is driven by creativity and precision. Not only does every photograph have to be correctly composed and cleanly shot but must also continually come up with new ways of making the artwork and gallery shots interesting; particularly with our social channels in mind. Another great part of the job is visiting and photographing our lovely client’s homes - She has seen some truly spectacular interiors!
