Craig Foord

Craig Foord has had a knack of recreating natural components in his artwork; His time working as a tree surgeon was a valuable period as it paved the way for an organic style becoming very sought-after during the year of abstractism. Re-creating his unique, oil abstract paintings, resin has emerged as the perfect versatile medium to use in Craig's artwork. The aesthetically pleasing outcome as a result of the clear durable gloss finish makes his paintings a wonderful gift for any collector.

                   'SYMPHONY'        |         DISCOVER MORE >

The organic elements from Craig Foord's pieces are ever more apparent from his time working in the tree surgeon field; In his latest piece, 'Symphony', the foundations have been built from the very roots that recreate some of his previous trees, only now, there have been spared; blossoming into beautiful, summer trees.

Using a selective colour pallet, 'Tranquil Dreams' incorporates a purple-esque pallet to make the piece long-lasting with resin. Utilising the glue-like substance to protect his pallet dry, the medium maintains the strong presence of Craig's purple-dominated piece, topped with gold leaf.

'STREAMS OF PINK'         |         DISCOVER MORE >

The warm 'Streams of Pink' is a blueprint for her style; as the sun sets, the homely colours pierced through the hills as the sky remained vivid, colours bouncing and prospering of each-other.

The 'Trees' and 'Tangled' works developed over a long period of time for Mary Johnston, selling watercolour as a young mum in her early 30's. Johnston's house sat at the edge of a ridge as the tall forest trees lingered from all corners of her country-side house. The big tangle of branches are also ever more present in her artwork.
