Viva La Vida: Becky Smith’s Celebration of Colour and Connection

An Exclusive Evening of Art, Collectors and Culture in Marbella

Viva La Vida united collectors worldwide through a new vibrant celebration showcased live in Marbella and the virtual international launch. Journey through this visual showcase and re-live this landmark event's dynamic energy and artistic atmosphere.

A Celebration of Art, Atmosphere and Authentic Connection

Every artist exhibition at Wyecliffe has a story to tell, and Viva La Vida was one of our most memorable to date. Set against the beautiful backdrop of SOUL Marbella, this marked Becky's and our first live event outside the UK. At its heart was Becky Smith's latest collection, and the evening unfolded with electric energy, warm conversation, and a genuine sense of connection.

Becky's passionate paintings brought the space to life, each canvas inviting collectors into her rich, emotional world. Longstanding clients and new collectors came together, shared stories, and spoke with Becky herself, who spent the night warmly engaging with guests and discussing the inspiration behind each piece.

The SOUL venue offered the perfect setting, with its refined aesthetic and welcoming team who worked seamlessly in the background, allowing us to focus on what truly matters: celebrating art, the relationships it fosters, and the stories it tells. We're deeply thankful to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so memorable.

A Global Audience For Her New Chapter

Alongside the live event, we virtually released Becky's Viva La Vida Collection as part of the international launch on our website. This Marbella Collection was months in the making — a vibrant tribute to Marbella's luxury, colour, and playful spirit. Inspired by her time in the region, Becky explored new themes of glamour and bold, expressive living, all while staying true to the positivity and energy that define her signature style.

From sun-drenched yachts and shimmering supercars to designer icons, all finished with her UV-reactive pigments that glow into the night. The event itself became an extension of that vision — uplifting, immersive, and filled with connection, with collectors from around the world exploring both online and in-person. The whole evening highlighted just how powerful and accessible collecting can be with Wyecliffe, whether it be a digital or in-person experience.

Viva La Vida builds on our continued relationship with southern Spain. Following our 2022 collaboration with artist Lhouette and Youtuber Shmee150, we joined the Supercar Owners Circle in Marbella for Lhouette's HyperPop project, which helped raise money and awareness for the charity CALM. These events showcase our commitment to nurturing genuine creative partnerships beyond borders.

Wherever we are, in the UK or further afield, our focus remains on creating art experiences rooted in trust, expertise, and lasting relationships. Viva La Vida was a proud milestone for Becky and the Wyecliffe Galleries, and we're excited to share what comes next in our story.

If you captured any moments from the event or have pictures of your new artwork displayed in your home, we would love to see them! Feel free to tag us on social media or share via email at info@wyecliffe.com.

Becky Smith’s is one of emotion and instinct, where each brushstroke offers a glimpse into a deeply personal, ever-evolving world.
