A natural risk-taker, Smith left Wimbledon School of Art before completing her course aged just 20. Preferring to gain experience within the heart of the artistic industry, early works were abundant with natural life in themes of paradise. Quickly signed for exclusive representation by Wyecliffe Galleries, Smith has been catapulted to the cutting edge of the contemporary scene. Uniquely positioned as a brand ambassador for international art materials on both sides of the Atlantic, Smith has become known for her innovative use of mediums and imaginative aesthetic. With collectors fast acquiring works as a unique proposition in their portfolio, Smith is looking set to be an artist to watch for the future. Wyecliffe Galleries is proud to present her first major collection of original works, ‘The Constellation Collection’.

Fascinated by astrology and with an established interest in the symbology of the zodiac, Smith’s first major collection is a lifetime in the making. Having spent months researching the ancient origin of each star constellation and their ruling planets, as well as charting the precious stones that contribute to the colour palette of each star sign, ‘The Constellation Collection’ is an accomplished series reflective of flourishing artist in their element.

Smith’s interpretation of the star constellation for Aries sees the planets cross the borders beyond her galaxy tree silhouette for the very first time. Rich in warm hues, the composition is heavily influenced by the star signs ruling planet, Mars. Known as the Red Planet, those born under this fire star sign are bold and dynamic; traits shared by this extraordinary composition.

Voyaging beyond the boundaries of our planet, the artist beckons collectors to travel beyond the stratosphere into the realms of possibility. Having developed her signature tree silhouette from its natural origins, leafy foliage is now the backdrop to endless galaxies. Created upon contemporary aluminium sheets and all featuring UV glow paint, discover your favourite from this collection of just 10 original works now.
