Building upon his sell-out series Stirling, leading urban artist Lhouette returns with the Hong Kong Dollar series of compact original works. First conceived in honour of his first presentation in this Chinese province, the artist re-imagines the 1000 HKD, borrowing the iconic lion from the lesser valued one-hundred dollar note. Encased in 24 carat gold-leaf and embossed for tactile effect, Lhouette has hand selected characters from his library of vintage cartoons to inject humour and vibrant colour to each bill.
As Lhouette’s primary representative, Wyecliffe Galleries has served clients reaching from the US to Hong Kong;
displaying Lhouettes artwork in the homes of private collectors worldwide. Contact us to further discuss your requirements.
