When crafting her Wicked collection, Kerry Darlington knew she couldn’t leave out one of the most beloved witches of modern fiction - Hermione Granger. In 'The Bird Conjuring Charm', Kerry captures Hermione in a moment of spellbinding focus: wand in hand, spellbook open, Crookshanks ever watchful. Golden sparks dance from the page as the Avis Charm takes flight, summoning a flurry of magical birds that whirl like living light.

Darlington draws inspiration from that unforgettable Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince scene, when Hermione, heartbroken over Ron’s affection for Lavender Brown, channels her emotion through magic, using Avis and Oppugno to send the conjured birds soaring toward him. It’s a moment of brilliance and bravery, the mark of a witch who feels deeply and acts with strength.

With exquisite detail and storytelling clarity, Darlington transforms this spell into a portrait of youthful power, intellect, and emotion, a celebration of the modern witch and her ability to balance knowledge with feeling.

Providing quality at every step

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
