Artist: Becky Smith

Born to Be Wild – Original Hand Painted Guitar - SOLD

Sold out

Exploding with neon colour and rebellious energy, Becky Smith’s Born to Be Wild is an original guitar reimagined as a one-off artwork. Skulls grin across the body, while graffiti-style text shouts iconic rock anthems 'Bad to the Bone' and 'Another One Bites the Dust'. Painted front and back, this statement piece is created for ornamental purposes, though we believe the instrument remains playable. Born to Be Wild captures the essence of music made to break rules and fuel adrenaline, an iconic artwork that unites the raw power of rock with Becky’s fearless style.

  • Medium: Original Electric Guitar. Acrylic and Spray paints with a specialised UV reactive and glow-in-the-dark paint.
  • Sculpture size: 92 x 31 cm / 36.22" x 12.2"

Please note: 'Born To Be Wild' is a fine art sculpture and has been created for ornamental purposes only.

Providing quality at every step

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
