Warmth, safety, and the quiet magic of winter’s arrival, 'Hibernation' by Kerry Darlington is a tender portrait of stillness and protection. In this mesmerising unique limited edition, a sleeping child rests peacefully within the embrace of a majestic bear, surrounded by a cascade of golden leaves that mark the shift from autumn to winter.

The bear-and-child motif is one of Darlington’s most beloved, drawn from folklore’s deep symbolism of guardianship and emotional strength. Every element, from the delicate butterflies to the burnished gold foliage, evokes serenity and renewal.

Each piece is lovingly enhanced with a gloss resin finish and raised 3D detailing, creating a tactile surface that glows as light catches the golden leaves and fur. 'Hibernation' invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and feel the warmth of home, a sanctuary captured forever in art.

Providing quality at every step

Experience and care with each order

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
