Kerry Darlington’s 'I’ll Stay There Forever' is a tender homage to one of the most beloved friendships in literature, Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh. Inspired by the poignant words, “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart. I’ll stay there forever,” the piece captures that timeless sentiment of love and connection that endures, even across distance.

Set beneath a soft moonlit sky, Christopher Robin is shown with his arm wrapped lovingly around Pooh, both gazing quietly into the forest beyond. The background glows in beautiful sepia-brown tones, layered with silvery light that gives the whole scene a nostalgic, dreamlike quality, as though drawn from memory itself. Delicate white birch trees rise behind them, their trunks glistening like the threads of stories that bind the two together.

Darlington transforms this cherished quote into a visual lullaby, one that speaks of loyalty, friendship, and the gentle strength of love that never fades. 'I’ll Stay There Forever' is a deeply comforting work, evoking the quiet wisdom of childhood and the enduring bonds that shape our lives.

Trading for over 30 years, we have made art our passion. Therefore we have developed a strict set of standards for the safe storage and dispatch of our precious works to our collectors. Our meticulous 12-point checklist ensures every work upholds our exacting quality standards when dispatching one of our artworks.

Starting at dispatch from the artist's studio, we've worked together with our community of artists to ensure delivery to the gallery is as meticulous as possible - each work packaged safe transit.

Upon arrival in our Weybridge showroom, each new arrival is examined by the studio & dispatch team. Frames are scrutinised for a perfect finish: glass is polished to perfection with anti-static art cloths. Auxiliary features like the string/wire and certification on the reverse are checked for positioning and correct mounting. Finally, the work itself is inspected to ensure a flawless transition from studio to gallery. Upon purchase, the work is cleaned again and meticulously subjected to our trademark 12-point checking system to ensure a safe secure journey to its ultimate destination.

With a network of framers, restorers, conservators and art dealers with over 50-years experience in the industry, you can rest assured your world-class art receives the highest level of scrutiny and care.
