Wyecliffe Galleries Shines at Anantara Art Space Marbella Art Fair

On 10 July 2025, the Art Space Monaco Pop-Up transformed the prestigious Espace 22 into a vibrant hub of creativity. Wyecliffe was proudly represented by Art Space, with a curated selection of our artists' works taking their place among over 60 world-class contemporary exhibitors. The Monaco art scene, known for its sophistication and discerning collectors, proved the perfect backdrop for our artists to shine.

With the Opera of Monte Carlo, the Prince's Palace, and the Grimaldi Forum just moments away, the event embodied the Riviera's cultural richness. Visitors were treated to a truly international line-up, where emerging talent met established names in a celebration of innovation and craftsmanship. Our partnership with Art Space ensured that our artists reached an audience who appreciates art as both a statement of style and a timeless investment.

From 1–3 August 2025, we stepped into the breathtaking surroundings of the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort for the Art Space Marbella Art Fair. Framed by the beauty of Andalusia between Marbella, Benahavís, and Estepona, this exclusive art event was the perfect stage for Wyecliffe to bring British contemporary art to an international audience.

We were proud to have the largest exhibition space at the fair, with a standout line-up of artists including Kerry Darlington, Lhouette, Becky Smith, Louise Dear, David Renshaw, Mark Illuminati, Totally Justified Hypocrisy, Zalini, and Henri Miller. Our Director, Ben Fry, and Creative Director, Katia Hickmer Dacey, attended the entire event, meeting collectors old and new in a setting that balanced art world prestige with Mediterranean warmth.

The fair opened with an exclusive VIP night attended by over 1,500 guests. Influencers, collectors, and art lovers explored a selection of works that embodied the spirit of contemporary art. Mark Illuminati's glowing neon pieces drew immediate attention, while Lhouette's striking catalogue, Louise Dear's original paintings on aluminium, and Becky Smith's vivid, glow-in-the-dark canvases filled the space with energy and colour.

Art Space's glass display walls added a level of refinement that elevated each piece. One of the most memorable moments came when Becky Smith took to the floor for a live painting session, giving guests a rare glimpse into the artistry behind her work.

This was our second major showcase in Marbella this summer, following Becky Smith’s landmark international solo exhibition at SOUL restaurant. Our presence in the city was also highlighted in a recent interview with BREATHE Magazine, where we discussed our bespoke art consultancy services and our highly personal approach to working with clients, often being involved from concept to completion on luxury interior projects.

With ongoing private commissions and collaborations in the region, our relationship with the Marbella art scene continues to grow. Each project reinforces our commitment to presenting art in spaces that match the ambition and beauty of the works themselves, while strengthening our position within Spain’s luxury art community.
