Wyecliffe Galleries is proud to present the definite collection of bespoke original works and boutique editions created exclusively for Life is But a Dream solo exhibition of Kerry Darlington. The seminal event was her only personal appearance of 2018, with the displays boasting works many months in the making.
Especially commissioned were rare deluxe murals showcasing compositions from beloved collections Tree of Life and others. A focus of the showcase was a series of works inspired by the birthplace of Harry Potter; Godric’s Hollow. In her own steampunk style, the village appears evocatively cloaked in mist and sunset in striking colour tones of silver and orange. A delicate series of boutique portraits featuring allegorical women shrouded in autumn leaves and peacock feathers rounded off the presentation.
