Through his journey Michael Abrams demonstrated how passion and perseverance together build success. He worked ten years as a forklift driver during the day while nurturing his creativity through evening freelance greeting card artistry. His artistic style and vision emerged from his experimental work and collaborations with leading greeting card publishers during this foundational period. Michael chose to pursue his artistic career full-time in 1990 which led to exhibition opportunities in New York and other locations. His innovative spirit motivated him to create a specialized ceramics collection for Wedgwood which showcased his trademark teddy bear character.
