Born in Gloucestershire, Paul studied at Cheltenham College of Art before gaining international recognition for his art while living in London. Extensive travels to Africa, Asia and the Americas expanded his visual vocabulary and sources of inspiration. Now based in Hampshire, the rivers, streams and seascapes of southern England offer endless inspiration, which Paul captures through his unique, intuitive approach to painting. His work conveys the fleeting yet essential spirit of nature.
