Robin Coleman pop-art inspired creations using cut-out comics and stamps to produce figurative originals.
Robin Coleman is a self-taught artist from Kent. He started painting as a form of stress release after being diagnosed with a spinal disease. Not being content with just paint, Robin began to take his work to another dimension by using newsprint, classic comic books, magazine cuttings and stamps bringing unique elements to the powerful imagery. Robin’s work is a delight to behold, it offers the viewer a journey through the different layers and mediums used.
Robin’s work has been exhibited in London and internationally with a 2014 show in Cape Town saw his work alongside Banksy and other leading contemporary artists. 2016 has so far seen Robin’s work leap in popularity with an incredible demand from prestigious galleries and clients worldwide.
